Description of Custom/Multi Pressfit Insertion Tooling
|
-Multi Part Top Die - In the case where a client prefers to press in multiple connectors at one time, a multi-part top die is designed to individually fit each connector specified and then combined into a single top tool for efficient installation
-Non-Standard Top Die - If the connector part number is not in our database, it is considered non standard and will require a custom top die to be manufactured
-Bottom Support Die - A custom tool designed to support only the area directly under the press fit connector with relief pockets or slots for the lead protrusion
-Base Support Plate - A custom fixture designed to support the area under all of the press fit connector locations for the entire card. ***NOTE: Requires PCB data to be sent along with the order form*** |
